After earning a Bachelor of Arts in international business and economics, summa cum laude, from Quinnipiac College in 1998, Ms. Chernysheva began her career as a contract negotiator for Pfizer Pharmaceutical for 10 years deciding to apply to law school and graduating with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nevada Boyd School of Law in 2009. During her law school years, she was a summer legal extern at Senator Riad, Speaker of the House’s, office and a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Mosley. Since 2011, she has excelled as a managing member of the MC Law Group in Las Vegas. A member of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of California, and District of Columbia Bar, Ms. Chernysheva has practiced before the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, the Supreme Court of Nevada and the Supreme Court of California.
Ms. Chernysheva has received many accolades throughout her career, including recognition among the Top 100 Lawyers in MyVegas Magazine in 2020 and the Top 10 Immigration Attorneys by the American Institute of Legal Counsel from 2017 to 2018. She was further honored as a Mountain State Rising Star for Super Lawyers in 2019. Ms. Chernysheva has been additionally presented with the Top 10 Attorney Award from National Academy of Family Law Attorneys from 2013 to 2015 and a Client Satisfaction Law from the immigration law division of the American Institute of Legal Counsel from 2018 to 2019.
Inducted to the Pro Bono Project 50 Hours Club in multiple years by the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Ms. Chernysheva has been affiliated with the Clark County Bar Association and the National Association of Professional Women. She currently serves as a chairperson for the fee dispute committee with the State Bar of Nevada, and has held positions as a division liaison for the Nevada chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and a past president with the Nevada chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
